YANGON, June 9 (Xinhua) -- The Myanmar government has removed the National Coalition Government of the Union of Burma (NCGUB) from unlawful association with effect from Friday, according to an order of the Home Ministry signed by its minister Lt-Gen Kyaw Swe late on the day.

The order also said the NCGUB was also declared no longer as terrorists with effect from the same date.

The NCGUB, claimed as a government in exile of Burma (Myanmar) in December 1990 and with its headquarters in the United States, had worked against the military government.

On Sept. 14, 2012, the NCGUB was officially dissolved to aid the reform process in Myanmar.
