BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Wednesday that China supports Middle East countries in their continued efforts to resolve disputes through diplomatic means.

Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks in a phone conversation with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates. ■
