NEW DELHI, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- Veteran English rockstar Mick Jagger, who gained fame as the lead singer and one of the founder members of the Rolling Stones, is currently touring India.

"Enjoying the vibrant sights and sounds of India!" the 74-year-old singer-songwriter tweeted Monday, along with his photograph at a luxury hotel in the western state of Rajasthan.

In the photo, Jagger is dressed in a black suit, posing on the premises of the hotel with the building in the background.

He has not announced the purpose of his visit.
