JERUSALEM, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Israel will hold the International Conference for Science Ministers in Jerusalem from May 28 to 30, the first of its kind in Israel, sources from the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology said on Monday.

Science ministers and delegations are expected to arrive from India, Britain, Argentina, Poland, Thailand, Kenya, Uganda, Spain and the Czech Republic, as well as the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

The event will feature an exhibition of Israel's scientific achievements and discussions, spotlighting Israeli developments and innovations that are a source of Israeli pride.

They will share information and promote collaborations with Israeli entrepreneurs and scientists, said the Ministry.

"During the event, many countries will salute Israel's science, technology and innovation. This is a real source of pride for Israel," said Israeli Science Minister Ofir Akunis.
