ISLAMABAD, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- A moderate earthquake jolted parts of Punjab Province in eastern Pakistan Saturday, local media reported.

The reports first put the earthquake at 6.4 magnitude and later changed into 4.3 magnitude with a depth of 30 km.

No loss of life or property has been reported so far, but the quake created panic among the people who rushed out of their houses, according to local TV channels.
